The Conference Committee for the Annual Computer Security Applications
Conference (ACSAC) is proud to announce the 1998 Call for Papers.  It is

The ACSAC Conference Committee is also pleased to announce its Best Paper
Award for 1997. The award was presented to Dixie B. Baker, Robert Barnhart,
and Teresa Buss from Science Applications International Corporation for
their outstanding paper and presentation entitled "PCASSO: Applying and
Extending State-of-the-Art Security in the Healthcare Domain". The authors
provided our community with some interesting and thoughtful insights into
information security issues in the healthcare industry, an area posing
great challenges to computer security professionals everywhere. On behalf
of the entire ACSAC Conference Committee and all of the conference
participants, congratulations on a job well done!
