20 Mar 1919 -- US Navy Radio Compass Station est.

1932 -- Renamed US Navy Direction Finder Station.

May 1940 -- Strategic DF station permanently est.

RFP during WWII. COMSEC #103.

1 Nov 1946 -- Renamed US Naval Radio Station and COMMSUPACT and COMMSECACT est.

1947 -- Renamed US Naval Communication Station Imperial Beach - COMMSUPACT and COMMSECACT disestablished.

7 Oct 1950 -- renamed Naval Radio Station (R)(S).

1953 -- NRS(S) became NAVSECGRUDept. of NCS San Diego OIC NRS(R) was also Head, NSGDept of NCS San Diego.

1971 -- Renamed Naval Radio Receiving Facility.

1 Oct. 1998 -- NSGDept. disest. and NSGA San Diego est. at NAS North Isl.

30 Sep.1999 -- NAVRADRECFAC HFDF site closed.
